Position Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Reports to: Accounts Receivable Manager
Location: Corporate Office 156C Hamakua Drive Kailua HI 96734
Schedule: Full-Time Monday – Friday
Hourly: $23-28
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Corporate Office in Kailua. This position is responsible for managing receivables for our Preschool Division, including processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and skilled in building clear communication with families, vendors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and record accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor and reconcile billing and payments.
- Communicate with families and staff regarding account balances.
- Assist with monthly reporting and audit preparation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Accounting required, Bachelor's strongly preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Experience with ProCare (or similar) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5 pm at our Kailua Office.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
