Positions Available:

• Teachers and Caregivers: Share your expertise and inspire curiosity in Preschool, PreK, or Infant/Toddler classrooms.
• Assistant Teachers: Provide nurturing care and support teachers in delivering high-quality programs.

About the Role:

As a Teacher, Caregiver or Assistant, you’ll:

• Create a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.
• Implement fun, age-appropriate activities that spark learning and growth.
• Support children’s hygiene and nutrition needs.

Qualifications:

• For Teachers: A mix of experience and education is required. Ideal candidates may have a CDA (Child Development Associate) or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, completed coursework in early childhood education, and 6-12 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• For Caregivers (Infant/Toddler Teachers): Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 12 college credits in early childhood or 30 hours of Infant/Toddler Development Training, and 12-24 months of experience with children under 36 months in a licensed childcare environment. (We can provide the 30 hours!)

Kama’aina Kids can help you qualify for a Teacher or Caregiver role if you’re interested and committed to personal growth. We offer Infant/Toddler Development Training and assistance in obtaining your CDA (Child Development Associate) at no cost to you! Start your career journey as a "Teacher Assistant" and grow with us!
