As an After School Program Manager with Kamaʻāina Kids, you'll lead a team that creates a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, build friendships, and have fun. You'll coach staff, partner with families and schools, and oversee a program that makes a lasting impact on Hawaiʻi's keiki.

A Schedule That Fits Your Life
Monday–Friday afternoons
Typical shifts from 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
Wednesday shifts begin around 12:30 PM for early-release schools
No evenings
No weekends
No holiday shifts

What You'll Do
Every afternoon brings new opportunities to lead, support, and inspire.
You'll:
Oversee the daily operations of an after-school program serving school-age children.
Coach, mentor, and support Group Leaders and Aides.
Create a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and engaged.
Plan enriching activities including games, STEM projects, arts and crafts, homework support, outdoor recreation, and team-building activities.
Build strong relationships with families, school administrators, and community partners.
Manage attendance, staffing, scheduling, communication, and day-to-day program operations.
Foster a positive team culture while ensuring every child has an exceptional after-school experience.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for leaders who are passionate about developing both children and teams.

Community Organizations
Military Youth Programs
Parks & Recreation
If you've supervised staff, managed programs, or led groups of children, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Need
At least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Experience leading or supervising groups of children
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
A positive attitude and dependable work ethic
Availability every Monday–Friday afternoon
