We’re hiring for our Kamakau Hawaiian Language Immersion program—this means fluency in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi is required. You’ll be supporting students in a culturally rich, language-first environment where Hawaiian language and values are part of every interaction.

What Your Afternoons Will Look Like:
Be a Role Model: Lead groups of keiki (ages 5–10) through games, arts & crafts, and outdoor play.
Coach & Support: Help with homework and encourage positive behavior.
Keep it Safe: Use "Active Supervision" to ensure a secure and organized environment.
Collaborate: Work with a team of fun, like-minded leaders to run a smooth program.
Inspire: Use and model ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi throughout the program
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
Has a heart for kids: You genuinely enjoy being around children and helping them succeed.
Is a Team Player: You show up on time and bring a positive attitude.
Is Ready to Lead: You are 18+ with a high school diploma or GED (select student aide roles available for those under 18!).
Lives near Kamakau: You can reliably commute to Kamakau
Are fluent in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (required)
