Because this program supports a Hawaiian language immersion school, the ability to fluently speak in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi is required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading games, crafts, and enrichment activities

• Helping with homework and positive behavior support

• Creating a safe, inclusive, high-energy environment

• Building strong connections with kids and families

• Supporting a Hawaiian language immersion environment through the use of ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi

• Working with teammates to keep afternoons fun and smooth

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

• Are patient, upbeat, and ready to learn

• Enjoy teamwork and trying new ideas

• Are 18+ with a high school diploma or GED

• Can work weekday afternoons

Some sites offer Group Leader Aide roles for students under 18.

Schedule & Locations

📍 Kamakau

• Monday–Friday: ~1:30 PM–5:30 PM

• Wednesdays: 12:30 PM start

• Substitute roles may vary

No late nights. No weekends. Just great afternoons.
