Roles in our School Age Program
-
Site Coordinator
Site Coordinators manage the day-to-day operations of a school-age program. They are available to move from group to group and offer assistance when needed. From supporting our Group Leaders to communicating with parents and the school, they are essential to ensuring a high-quality program.
-
Group Leader
Group Leaders implement fun activities, help with homework, and ensure that all students have a fun and safe environment. They often get to share hobbies and interests with the students like sports, crafts, and even chess. Each day is an adventure, and the Group Leaders lead the fun!
-
Group Leader Aide
This is a great entry-level role for high school students who are interested in working with children. They assist our Group Leaders in implementing activities and maintaining a safe environment. Great training is provided and our Aides are often promoted to Group Leaders once eligible!
Typical Schedule
Our Before and After School Programs operate when school is out of session. Typical hours are 7am until school starts and then after school ends for the day until 5:30pm. That means no evenings or weekends for staff! Many of our programs are open during intersession and summer, although site locations may change. Summer Day Camp is always a fun adventure and may include excursions to local areas of interest and entertainment.
